Emirates Airlines announced on X that it has become the official main sponsor of Real Madrid Basketball in a new multi-year agreement, extending its long-standing partnership and expanding its presence in European basketball.

According to Emirates Media Centre, the sponsorship agreement establishes Emirates as the Official Main Sponsor of Real Madrid Basketball, marking the first time the airline has entered into European basketball. The partnership includes jersey branding with the "Fly Better" logo, training kits, and visibility in the Movistar Arena. Emirates will also receive exposure through Real Madrid Basketball’s digital media and match-day hospitality platforms, providing multiple avenues to connect with fans.

The Government of Dubai Media Office noted that this agreement represents Emirates’ debut in European basketball sponsorship, following decades of high-profile football partnerships. The airline intends to use this partnership to strengthen its brand presence across Spain and the broader European market. This move also reflects Emirates’ long-term strategy of diversifying its sports sponsorship portfolio to reach new audiences beyond football.
