Amazon Air recently hosted a professional development session titled "Cafecitos y Consejos" at its KSBD site. The event aimed to provide employees with coaching on interview skills, resume writing, internal mobility, and opportunities to connect with site leaders.

According to the KSBD Latinos@ Instagram post, the session focused on practical career development. Leaders offered detailed feedback to associates on how to align their skills and experiences with Amazon’s hiring and promotion standards. The informal setting over iced coffee facilitated open discussions between employees and leaders.

Internal mobility was emphasized during the event, providing insights into career advancement opportunities within Amazon Air. The Instagram post explained that KSBD leaders shared strategies for navigating Amazon’s internal transfer and promotion systems, aiming to make growth pathways more transparent. By addressing advancement opportunities directly, the event sought to improve employee retention and strengthen long-term engagement.
