KSBD Air Hub, Amazon's regional air cargo facility at San Bernardino International Airport, announced via Instagram that its Body Positive Peers affinity group donated 171 books to the Making Hope Happen Foundation. This contribution is part of a book drive that has amassed over 20,000 books for K–6 students in San Bernardino.

According to KSBD Air Hub, the Body Positive Peers affinity group organized a book collection campaign during September, gathering new and gently used books for children. The hub states that this group promotes inclusivity and employee engagement while supporting community needs. This initiative reflects an increasing focus among Amazon facilities on localized philanthropy and employee-led volunteerism.

The donation was made to the Making Hope Happen Foundation, which aims to provide educational opportunities and resources to students in San Bernardino. The foundation says its mission is to "advance educational excellence" in the region, particularly for underserved students. Partnering with the foundation ensures that the books will reach classrooms and students who most need them.

KSBD Air Hub confirmed that the broader book drive has collected over 20,000 books so far and aims to ensure every student in San Bernardino receives one by year-end. According to KSBD, this goal highlights the power of sustained community partnerships and demonstrates the hub’s capacity to mobilize resources for education. The campaign's continuation through year’s end underscores KSBD's long-term commitment to supporting local youth development.

KSBD Air Hub serves as Amazon’s regional air cargo facility located at San Bernardino International Airport in California. Amazon states that the facility opened in 2021, employs thousands of people, and functions as a key West Coast logistics hub within its global delivery network. Beyond operations, Amazon emphasizes KSBD's involvement in community initiatives such as philanthropy, nonprofit partnerships, and workforce development efforts aimed at strengthening San Bernardino’s local economy.
