The Park Hyatt Tokyo, which closed in May 2024 for renovations, is set to reopen on December 9, 2025. The hotel, known for its appearance in the film "Lost in Translation," has announced that reservations are now open. Bookings using World of Hyatt points are also available.
A spokesperson said, "As we reported exclusively last week, the legendary Park Hyatt Tokyo is reopening this coming December after a major overhaul." The hotel is classified as a Category 8 property within the World of Hyatt program.
Award stays start at 35,000 points per night for standard rooms during off-peak times. However, current availability shows most standard nights at 40,000 points and peak nights at 45,000 points. There are limited dates in January with the lowest rate of 35,000 points per night. Suite awards begin at 61,000 points per night and premium suites start at 80,000 points per night; suite award availability remains limited.
