Christian Schmitt Managing Director Operations and Accountable Manager | Condor

Condor will retire its last Boeing 757-300 in November, ending a 35-year period during which Boeing aircraft were part of the airline's fleet. The company has announced a special farewell flight on November 5, 2025, to commemorate this milestone. The event is aimed at both aviation enthusiasts and employees who have worked with the aircraft over the years.

The farewell flight will depart from Frankfurt and travel to Vienna. Upon arrival, there will be a dedicated farewell event for the aircraft. Passengers will return to Frankfurt on what Condor describes as "the world’s highest party." A total of 75 tickets for this exclusive flight will be auctioned via the Condor Shop beginning September 22, 2025. More information can be found at https://shop.condor.com/pages/boeing-757.

Christian Schmitt, Chief Operating Officer of Condor, commented on the transition: “By bidding farewell to the Boeing 757, an era at Condor comes to an end. At the same time, this marks the beginning of a new chapter with a modern, more efficient, and more sustainable Airbus fleet. Moreover, Condor has long since become more than just a leisure airline, as evidenced by our expanded network with new city connections. That is why our farewell flight combines the nostalgia of our last B757 with a joyful look into the future, symbolized by our city destination Vienna.”

Passengers who are unable to secure tickets for the special flight still have opportunities to fly on one of Condor’s remaining six Boeing 757s until early November. These planes will continue regular operations between Düsseldorf and Frankfurt and popular holiday destinations such as Palma de Mallorca, Hurghada, Fuerteventura, and Gran Canaria until late October. The final scheduled flights are planned for Düsseldorf–Palma–Düsseldorf on October 29 and Frankfurt–Hurghada–Frankfurt on November 2.

Flights can be booked online at www.condor.com or through travel agencies.
