Airbus Helicopters has launched a new parts distribution center in Western Australia to improve the speed and efficiency of spare parts delivery throughout the country. The facility, which currently covers 500 square meters with the potential to expand up to 1,500 square meters, is located near Perth Airport. This location was chosen to facilitate faster customs clearance and component dispatch for operators of Airbus-built helicopters.
The center aims to serve both civil and government helicopter operators in Australia, as well as offshore energy customers who represent a significant portion of Airbus’s client base in the region. By situating the facility close to Perth Airport, Airbus expects to streamline inbound freight operations and reduce waiting times for spare parts deliveries.
Romain Trapp, Vice President of Customer Support & Services at Airbus, stated: “This expansion reflects our enduring commitment to Australia, where we have proudly supported operators for over 40 years."
