Condor has announced a special rescue fare for passengers affected by the sudden closure of Icelandic airline PLAY. The collapse of PLAY has left many travelers stranded on both sides of the Atlantic, particularly those who relied on Iceland as a connecting point between the United States and European cities such as Berlin, Paris, and Prague.
The German airline expressed sympathy for both the employees and customers impacted by PLAY's shutdown. In response to the disruption, Condor is offering support to those whose travel plans have been interrupted.
Daniel de Carvalho, interim Marketing & Communications director at Condor, stated: "At Condor, we believe travel should bring people together, not leave them behind. By extending this helping hand, we hope to ease the inconvenience faced by PLAY’s customers during this period of disruption."
