Emirates has announced an expansion of its London Heathrow operations with six additional weekly flights beginning 26 October 2025. This increase comes in response to strong travel demand and is intended to provide more flexibility for passengers during the winter travel season.

The airline currently operates six daily flights between Dubai and London Heathrow, all serviced by the Airbus A380. The new flights will use the Boeing 777-300ER, which offers over 350 seats in First, Business, and Economy classes. The added services will run every day except Friday throughout the winter period.

According to Emirates, these new overnight departures from London Heathrow are scheduled to facilitate onward connections to destinations such as Durban, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Jakarta. Travellers coming into London from cities across West Asia—including Ahmedabad, Lahore, Maldives, Hyderabad and Chennai—as well as from Beijing and Shanghai in China and several Middle Eastern cities like Bahrain, Dammam and Riyadh will also benefit from improved connectivity.

Flight EK41 is set to depart Dubai at 13:40 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday (arriving at London Heathrow at 17:40), while the return flight EK42 departs London at various times depending on the day of the week. On Thursdays EK41 leaves Dubai at 12:55 (arriving at 16:55), with corresponding adjustments for return timings. All times are local.

Emirates’ website states that customers can book tickets through emirates.com or via other sales channels including retail stores and travel agents.

With this expanded schedule at both London Heathrow and Gatwick—where a fourth daily flight will begin on 8 February 2026 using the Airbus A350—the airline expects its total weekly flights serving its three main London airports (Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted) to reach 90 by early next year. By February 2026 Emirates projects it will operate a total of 146 weekly UK flights across its three London airports as well as Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Emirates highlighted that passengers flying with them can expect "a best-in-class onboard experience with exceptional levels of comfort and hospitality." The airline added that it offers "an unmatched culinary experience in the skies with regionally inspired multi-course menus developed by a team of award-winning chefs," along with a wide selection of beverages. Entertainment options include more than 6,500 channels on Emirates’ inflight entertainment system called ice.
