EVA Air has launched its first nonstop service between Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Taipei, marking the airline's seventh U.S. destination. The inaugural flight took place Friday night and introduced EVA's new premium economy seats to the United States for the first time.
EVA Air President Clay Sun commented on the new route at DFW, stating, "This new route is about more flights, making connection. I think EVA is helping to [strengthen] the connection between, not only Taiwan, but Asia and [the] USA, especially Texas."
The introduction of this route supports DFW’s position as a major hub for travelers heading to destinations in Australia, Asia, and the South Pacific. In 2025, airlines are projected to offer 28% more seats from DFW across the Pacific compared to 2024. This growth includes recent launches such as Cathay Pacific’s service to Hong Kong and Fiji Airways’ flights to Nadi International Airport.
