BermudAir has announced it will expand its service to the New York City area, offering flights from three different airports by the end of October. The airline will continue operating from Westchester County Airport (HPN), while adding new routes to LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).

The updated schedule includes three weekly flights between Bermuda's L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA) and HPN on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Service to EWR will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays starting October 26, while flights to LGA will run twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays beginning October 29.

With these additions, BermudAir passengers can choose from seven weekly flights connecting Bermuda with the New York metropolitan area, excluding Mondays. On Thursdays, there will be two departures—one each from EWR and HPN.

Initially, BermudAir had planned to discontinue its HPN route once the new services launched at LGA and EWR. However, after feedback from customers in Westchester and Fairfield counties, the airline decided to maintain all three routes. Adam Scott, founder and CEO of BermudAir, stated: "Many of our most loyal and frequent travellers from Westchester and Fairfield counties spoke up — and we listened. With the launch of our 'New York Triangle,' we're offering nonstop flights from three of the most convenient New York City-area airports, providing leisure and business travelers alike with more flexibility and convenient access to Bermuda."

In addition to these changes in New York service, BermudAir plans to serve EWR from Anguilla's Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport (AXA) through its subsidiary AnguillAir starting December 18.

BermudAir operates a fleet of Embraer E-Jet aircraft that are suited for routes with lower demand several days per week. The airline initially intended to offer an all-business class configuration but later switched to a standard two-class cabin.

By year-end, BermudAir is expected to serve 11 destinations in the U.S. and Canada from both AXA in Anguilla and BDA in Bermuda according to data provided by aviation analytics firm Cirium.

Competition for direct flights between North America and Bermuda remains limited; Air Canada offers service between Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and BDA; JetBlue Airways flies between Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and BDA; United Airlines connects EWR with BDA.
