Emirates has announced the launch of an Accessible & Inclusive Travel Hub online, alongside new onboard sensory products and service enhancements for travelers with accessibility needs. The announcement was made on X, formerly known as Twitter.

According to Emirates' media center, the new travel hub is now live on its website, offering guidance and tools tailored to travelers with diverse accessibility requirements. The hub is designed to be user-friendly for individuals with disabilities, featuring high-contrast design, screen reader compatibility, and navigation options based on disability type or travel stage. Emirates states that the hub allows users to explore support options for mobility issues, visual impairments, hearing impairments, hidden disabilities, and more.

In a statement via Breaking Travel News, Emirates introduced onboard sensory products and fidget toys available across all cabin classes starting 1 November 2025. These items are intended to support neurodiverse passengers and those experiencing stress or sensory overload. The offerings include tactile stress-relievers shaped like aircrafts, fidget cubes, and popper toys. Cabin crews will provide these items upon request or when they see fit.

TradeArabia reports that Emirates is also implementing process improvements and ground-level enhancements at Dubai's Terminal 3. These include barrier-free corridors, biometric-assisted movement systems, increased kiosk accessibility (with height-adjustable interfaces, braille features, voice guidance), and a prototype wheelchair-accessible chauffeur service expected to expand in early 2026. These initiatives aim to reduce friction in the passenger journey for those with mobility or sensory needs.

Earlier in 2025, Emirates became the world’s first Autism Certified Airline by training over 35,000 staff members in autism awareness and accessible travel. This certification was validated by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) and supports the airline's broader accessibility initiatives.
