According to EVA Air’s official press release, the inaugural flight for this new route took place on October 3, 2025. This marks EVA’s first direct connection between Taiwan and Texas. Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Newsroom reported that EVA Air’s new service operates three times per week using a Boeing 777-300ER configured with Royal Laurel Class, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins. DFW officials noted that this route adds Taipei to its growing network of Asia-Pacific destinations and enhances passenger and cargo trade potential between Texas and Taiwan. The airport also reported that the service launch is expected to generate millions in annual economic activity for the North Texas region.
