EVA Air has announced the introduction of a nonstop flight connecting Dallas/Fort Worth and Taipei, creating a direct link between Texas and Taiwan. This move is part of the airline's efforts to expand its North American route network. The announcement was made on X.

According to EVA Air’s official press release, the inaugural flight for this new route took place on October 3, 2025. This marks EVA’s first direct connection between Taiwan and Texas. The airline said that this new route strengthens ties between Asia and the southern United States, supporting business, tourism, and cultural exchange. It underscores EVA Air's commitment to expanding transpacific connectivity through high-quality service and strategic route development.

Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Newsroom reported that EVA Air’s new service operates three times per week using a Boeing 777-300ER configured with Royal Laurel Class, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins. DFW officials noted that this route adds Taipei to its growing network of Asia-Pacific destinations and enhances passenger and cargo trade potential between Texas and Taiwan. The airport also reported that the service launch is expected to generate millions in annual economic activity for the North Texas region.

Business Traveller highlighted that this launch marks EVA Air’s ninth destination in North America as part of the carrier’s broader expansion strategy to strengthen its long-haul network. The publication confirmed that the airline’s schedule aligns with connecting flights across its Taipei hub, offering seamless onward connections to 30 cities in Asia, including Tokyo, Bangkok, and Ho Chi Minh City. Executives from EVA Air emphasized that the addition of Dallas/Fort Worth supports the airline’s continued growth in high-demand transpacific markets.

EVA Air is a Taiwanese full-service international carrier headquartered in Taoyuan and a member of the Star Alliance network. According to the airline’s corporate profile, it operates a mixed fleet of Boeing and Airbus aircraft to over 60 destinations worldwide. The airline has earned multiple Skytrax "5-Star Airline" designations for its reputation for safety and premium service as it continues to expand its footprint across North America and Asia.
