San Bernardino International Airport has announced on the social media platform X that it is promoting nonstop fall travel to Provo, Utah, via Breeze Airways. The airport highlights its $5 daily parking rate as a cost-saving benefit for travelers.

According to the Utah Valley Visitors Bureau, fall in Provo features peak leaf color from late September through October, creating strong demand for "leaf peeping" and scenic drives tied to seasonal events and outdoor recreation. Weather data supports this by indicating that average October highs in Provo range from about 71°F to 56°F with cool nights, conditions favorable for hiking and festivals. These sources suggest that autumn is an opportune time for nature-focused getaways that San Bernardino International Airport (SBD) is promoting.

FlySBD’s official announcement states that Breeze Airways launched new nonstop service between San Bernardino and Provo-Salt Lake City on February 7, 2025. The introductory one-way fares start "from $39," with flights operating twice weekly. This service provides Inland Empire travelers direct access to Utah without requiring a connection. Regional coverage from The Salt Lake Tribune corroborates this information, noting that direct flights will run on Mondays and Fridays with the same $39 introductory fare.

The official SBD parking page indicates terminal parking is priced at $5 per day, with numerous spaces close to the terminal and multiple kiosk payment options emphasizing convenience. The airport's departure guide reinforces this message by stating SBD "offers an incredibly low parking rate of $5 per day." A community site operated by SBD reiterates the $5 rate and notes options to pay in advance, positioning parking as a reliable value option aligned with the post's "big savings" message.

According to the San Bernardino International Airport Authority (SBIAA), SBD is a public airport certified under Part-139 regulations and owned by a regional joint powers authority formed in 1992 to redevelop the former Norton Air Force Base. Wikipedia notes that the facility serves the Inland Empire with commercial, cargo, and general aviation operations and features a 10,000-foot runway. The airport's official site positions SBD as an easy, affordable gateway with hundreds of $5/day parking spaces and a compact terminal experience for travelers.
