Erica Peng Director Customer Travel | Cathay Pacific

Cathay Pacific announced that starting November 15, 2025, complimentary Wi-Fi will be available to all Cathay Gold members traveling in any cabin. This move is part of the airline's ongoing efforts to improve the inflight experience for its passengers.

Currently, complimentary Wi-Fi is provided to passengers in First and Business class, as well as Diamond and Gold members across all cabins. The airline also plans to extend this benefit to all Cathay members flying in Premium Economy by the end of the year.

Erica Peng, Director Customer Travel at Cathay Pacific, stated: “At Cathay Pacific, we recognise how important it is for our passengers to stay connected in the air, whether they are travelling for business or leisure. With the extension of our complimentary Wi-Fi service, we are continuing to further refine the travel experience for our valued passengers.”

With expanded access to free inflight connectivity, more travelers will be able to check emails, browse online content, stream audio, use social media and messaging apps, and access cloud storage or professional applications while onboard. Passengers can connect one device at a time but may switch devices during their flight. Complimentary access to cathaypacific.com and the Cathay Shop will remain available for all cabins.

Cathay Pacific notes that it is among a limited number of airlines globally that offer both full seatback inflight entertainment systems and high-speed internet connectivity throughout its entire fleet.

The company encourages Premium Economy passengers to register as Cathay members before their flights so they can take advantage of exclusive benefits such as free Wi-Fi once it becomes available.
