Air France has opened a new lounge at Chicago O'Hare International Airport's Terminal 5, marking its first dedicated lounge at the airport. The lounge, which began operations on October 17, 2025, is managed in partnership with Global Lounge Network. It is available to Air France Business and Flying Blue Elite Plus customers as well as eligible KLM travelers.

The space covers almost 470 square meters and offers seating for 105 people. It is open daily from 5 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. The design includes large bay windows with views of the runways and uses Air France's signature colors—blue, white, and red. According to the airline, "the lounge reflects the world of the airline with the use of its logo, the winged seahorse - its historic symbol - and posters illustrating its rich heritage." Furniture was selected for comfort.

A catering area serves French-style cuisine with both hot and cold dishes that change throughout the day. Menu options include beef bourguignon, country-style chicken, vegetarian selections, and chocolate mousse with caramel cream. Air France notes that it aims for sustainability by using local and seasonal ingredients while reducing food waste and minimizing single-use plastic.

The bar area offers a selection of champagnes, French wines, and spirits. Guests can access drinks either through a bartender or via self-service.

Flying Blue Ultimate customers have a private section within the lounge with four seats offering privacy but full access to all amenities.

Additional features include relaxation areas facing the runway, workspaces with power outlets and USB ports, phone booths for private calls, free Wi-Fi, TV screens, eligibility kiosks at the entrance for quick check-in, and access to digital press via the Air France Press app.

Air France currently operates up to seven flights per week between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Chicago O’Hare using Airbus A350 aircraft during winter schedules.
