On October 13, 2025, a flight review was conducted on American Airlines flight AA808, which operated from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas. The reviewer was booked in economy class on a Boeing 737-800, occupying seat 18F after an initial assignment to a middle seat.

The check-in process was completed using the American Airlines app, which allowed the reviewer to add their known traveler number and obtain TSA Precheck status on their boarding pass. No checked baggage was required, as all luggage was carried on board.

The reviewer traveled to DFW via the Trinity Metro TEXRail, entering through Terminal B and proceeding to Terminal D, which is known for its wide range of retail and dining options. Security screening was expedited due to TSA Precheck, and the reviewer proceeded directly to gate D1.

American Airlines' boarding process was described as straightforward, with preboarding for select groups and subsequent boarding by groups 1 through 9. The flight, originally scheduled to depart at 17:45 Central Time, experienced a delay due to the late arrival of the inbound aircraft from Mexico City and additional required maintenance. Boarding began at 17:40, with departure at 18:56.

The Boeing 737-800 featured a seating configuration of two-two in First Class and three-three in Main Cabin Extra and Main Cabin. The reviewer found the seat comfortable, with adequate legroom and access to a USB charging port. There were no seatback entertainment screens; instead, passengers accessed entertainment on personal devices. T-Mobile customers received complimentary Wi-Fi, while other passengers could purchase Wi-Fi packages.

The crew was described as courteous and professional. The flight included complimentary beverage service with options such as coffee, tea, juices, and soft drinks, along with snacks like pretzels or cookies. Additional snacks and alcoholic beverages were available for purchase.

The flight landed at Harry Reid International Airport at 19:17 Pacific Time. After arrival, paramedics boarded the aircraft to assist a passenger requiring medical attention. The deplaning process was efficient.

The aircraft, registered as N960NN, is an 11-year-old Boeing 737-800 operated by American Airlines. Its first flight occurred on October 23, 2014, with delivery to the airline on November 7, 2014. The scheduled duration of the flight was 2.5 hours. Despite the delay, the reviewer described the experience as pleasant and expressed willingness to fly with American Airlines again.
