Delta Air Lines has announced the release of version 7.5 of its mobile app, introducing new features aimed at making travel planning and management easier for customers during the holiday season.

The update includes a Flex Calendar, which allows users to compare flight fares across different dates and identify the best deals for their trips. Customers using Companion Certificates can also use the Flex Calendar to find eligible dates, streamlining the process of maximizing their benefits.

The app’s Advanced Search function now enables travelers to add Certificates, eCredits, or Delta Gift Cards directly to their search. Additionally, the update expands day-of-travel details available in Live Activities, such as boarding zone, seat assignment, and baggage carousel information, which are displayed on the lock screen.

Delta SkyMiles Card Members can now use the new Delta Sky Club Tracker to monitor their spending, track club visits, and follow their progress toward unlimited Delta Sky Club access for the following year.

Travelers who need to update their Known Traveler Number (KTN) can now do so directly within the app, eliminating the need to visit the Delta website.

Later in the month, Delta will invite a select group of app users to test Delta Concierge, a digital travel assistant designed for SkyMiles Members. According to Delta, “Delta Concierge is designed to complement the care and expertise of Delta’s people, freeing up agents to focus on more complex, one-on-one interactions while giving customers fast, accurate answers — powered by generative AI—on the go.”

The company says this new feature is part of an ongoing investment in providing a more personalized and connected journey for SkyMiles Members.

Delta also highlighted features introduced in the 7.0 summer release, including easier redemption of Global and Regional Upgrade Certificates, improved notifications, support for international travel documentation, and self-service standby rebooking through the app. These updates are intended to give travelers greater flexibility and control during disruptions.

The airline describes its app as “the ultimate travel companion—connecting every step of the journey with intuitive, real-time features that reduce stress and keep you moving. Stay ahead of every step, from booking to baggage claim, with proactive updates and clear information. Comparison shop for flights, track your Delta Sky Club activity at a glance, and more—all with ease.”
