Kawal Preet, Executive Vice President of Planning, Engineering, and Transformation at FedEx and former President of the Asia Pacific region, has been named to Fortune magazine’s “2025 Most Powerful Women in Business: Asia” list. This recognition highlights Preet’s leadership of the FedEx Asia Pacific team and her influence within the industry.

The annual Fortune list honors 100 women who are driving business transformation across key sectors in Asia, including finance, technology, transportation, aviation, industrials, and energy. The award focuses on leaders whose innovation and strategies are helping their companies adapt through digitalization and supply chain resilience.

Ang Khoon Fong, CEO of Fortune Asia, said: "The ‘2025 Most Powerful Women in Business: Asia’ list showcases diverse forces—from the most influential boards in the region to leaders in culture, sports, and public life. Fortune evaluated candidates based on company size and health, career trajectory, influence, innovation capabilities, and social impact efforts. Among those listed were 28 women holding global or regional positions at Fortune Global 500 companies as well as six top executives from Southeast Asia’s largest firms. The magazine also highlighted cultural icons from arts and sports alongside public sector leaders.

FedEx is one of the world’s largest express transportation companies with operations reaching over 220 countries and territories through an extensive air-ground network that delivers time-sensitive shipments globally.
