Hainan Airlines announced on X that it is offering rewards to eligible inbound passengers who book accommodations through designated Marriott channels from September 15 to December 31, 2025.

According to Hainan Airlines, the "Discover Hainan" Promotion encourages inbound travel to the island province through a strategic partnership with Marriott Bonvoy. The post highlights that guests booking via Marriott’s designated channels can unlock exclusive stay rewards when paired with an eligible Hainan Airlines flight. This collaboration aligns with China’s broader tourism initiatives to revitalize inbound travel and highlight Hainan’s image as a premier international leisure destination.

According to Hainan Airlines’ official promotion page, the campaign runs from September 15 to December 31, 2025, covering the autumn–winter tourism season. Eligible passengers must present proof of travel on a Hainan Airlines-operated inbound flight to enjoy offers including discounted Marriott room rates and loyalty rewards. The partnership leverages both Hainan Airlines’ flight network and Marriott’s hospitality footprint to promote integrated tourism experiences.

Marriott International's 2025 development update indicates that the company continues expanding its presence in Hainan with over 15 properties across key cities such as Sanya, Haikou, and Lingshui. The collaboration aligns with Marriott Bonvoy’s travel ecosystem strategy—linking airline partnerships to drive destination loyalty and customer retention. These integrated promotions are designed to boost occupancy and visitor spending in China’s free-trade-zone region.

Hainan Airlines, established in 1993 and headquartered in Haikou, China, is a Skytrax five-star carrier known for full-service international and domestic operations. The airline operates a modern fleet of Boeing and Airbus aircraft and emphasizes premium inflight experiences and tourism partnerships that promote the Hainan Free Trade Port. According to its corporate website, the airline continues to enhance destination connectivity through travel alliances and co-branded promotions.
