Delta Air Lines and Starbucks have announced a partnership to launch The In-Air Coffeehouse, an exclusive travel experience for SkyMiles Members. The event will take selected members on a chartered flight from Atlanta to Costa Rica, where the in-flight atmosphere will be transformed into a coffeehouse setting.
The experience, scheduled for December 16-18, includes a guided coffee tasting hosted by Starbucks baristas during the flight. After landing at Juan Santamaría International Airport in Costa Rica, guests will stay in Belén before visiting Hacienda Alsacia, Starbucks’ coffee and innovation farm located on the slopes of Poás Volcano. There, participants will tour coffee fields, take part in hands-on activities related to the coffee-making process, and sample unique Starbucks coffees paired with food only available at the farm. Guests will also engage with Costa Rican culture through local cuisine and entertainment.
Entry to win seats on this chartered journey is open from October 27 through November 3 for eligible SkyMiles Members and their friends. No miles are required to enter; interested participants can register as groups via SkyMiles Experiences’ new Group Drop feature. Membership in SkyMiles is free and available through Delta’s website or the Fly Delta app.
