Emirates hosts UAE Team Emirates XRG after record-breaking cycling season

Emirates Airline hosted members of UAE Team Emirates XRG at its Group Headquarters, marking the team's successful season in international cycling. The delegation included Tadej Pogačar, currently ranked number one in the UCI World Ranking and a four-time Tour de France champion. He was accompanied by João Almeida, ranked fifth globally, as well as riders Florian Vermeersch, Jay Vine, Johnatan Narváez, and Tim Wellens. Mauro Gianetti, CEO of UAE Team Emirates XRG, also attended the event.

Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, welcomed the team during their visit. Employees of Emirates had an opportunity to meet with the cyclists and recognize their achievements over the past season. The event highlighted the ongoing partnership between Emirates and UAE Team Emirates XRG.

Since 2017, Emirates has served as co-title sponsor for UAE Team Emirates XRG and renewed this partnership earlier in 2025.
