Westchester County Airport (HPN) climbed to fourth place from sixth last year with an increase to 32,994 flights in 2024—a rise of 0.3%. Located near wealthy New York suburbs and Fairfield County’s opulent areas like Greenwich, it serves as a key gateway for private aviation.
Van Nuys Airport (VNY) rounds out the top five despite experiencing a decrease of 3% from last year with total flights at 32,229 in 2024. Situated in Los Angeles, it caters primarily to affluent individuals including celebrities traveling within Southern California.
