Finnair has unveiled its new Schengen Lounge at Helsinki Airport, which opened on July 9 and can accommodate up to 440 guests. Located near gate 21 on the third floor, the lounge is inspired by Finnair’s Nordic design language, featuring wooden surfaces and earthy colors. It is divided into two areas: a classic Business Lounge and the exclusive Platinum Corner.

The new facility replaces the previous lounge and offers distinct spaces for resting, working, dining, and socializing, with a view of the runway. Soundproof workspaces are designed to meet the needs of busy commuters.

The Platinum Corner represents a new concept for Finnair and is dedicated to Finnair Plus Platinum and Platinum Lumo members, as well as oneworld Emerald cardholders. Travelers have expressed positive feedback about the new offering on social media. One user commented on X: “It’s an upgrade from the old lounge with a cozy vibe,” though noted it lacks an ‘a la carte’ menu.

- Finnair Plus Gold members + 1 guest + children under 18 years of age

- Finnair Plus Platinum members + 1 guest + children under 18 years of age

- Finnair Plus Platinum Lumo members + 4 guests + children under 18 years of age

- Oneworld Emerald and Sapphire cardholders + 1 guest

Passengers can also purchase lounge access while booking their flight or later via the Finnair app or website. Through July 23, Finnair is offering a discounted price of €29 for access.
