GeoBreeze Travel recently interviewed Ben Lipsey, head of Air France KLM Flying Blue. Meanwhile, Delta Airlines faces scrutiny over claims that employees were seen wearing pro-terrorist pins on their uniforms, despite company policy prohibiting political statements.

CNN anchor Kasie Hunt highlighted a little-known aspect of airline policies regarding the Contract of Carriage. Hunt shared her experience: "Thank you to the many people who helped me race to DCA from the set…and the efficient TSA folks who helped me — sadly! — @AmericanAir will drop your seat at exactly 15 minutes before departure…even if you arrive 11 minutes before…them’s the rules but it’s a nice reminder why…”

United Airlines has applied for one of the new ‘beyond perimeter’ slot exemptions at Washington National Airport created by the FAA Reauthorization bill. They seek to operate a second non-stop flight to San Francisco. However, their application is weakened by proposing a flight time that does not comply with the new slot regulations.

In another incident, a TSA agent faces up to five years in jail after making two bomb hoaxes at Tulsa International Airport. This comes as TSA screeners received raises up to 31%, reportedly improving job satisfaction.
