The IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card has introduced a new initial bonus offer, providing 5 free night awards valued at up to 300,000 points. This represents a significant increase from the previous offer of 140,000 points.

Cardholders can earn these 5 free nights after spending $4,000 within the first three months of account opening. Each night is valued at up to 60,000 points. Additionally, cardmembers receive an Anniversary Free Night worth up to 40,000 points at IHG Hotels & Resorts and a fourth reward night free when redeeming points for a consecutive four-night stay at IHG One Rewards properties. Other benefits include automatic Platinum Elite status (with an option to earn Diamond status with $40,000 spent on the card in a calendar year) and up to $50 in United TravelBank credit annually. The card carries an annual fee of $99.

While the total value of the offer could be perceived as high as 300,000 points, actual value may vary based on individual booking choices and point flexibility. The estimated value of IHG points is approximately 0.5 cents each.

The card is likely subject to Chase’s 5/24 rule, restricting approval to those with fewer than five new cards in the past 24 months.

For those whose primary hotel chain is not IHG but includes Marriott or Hilton as secondary options, having this card can still be beneficial due to its status perks and the fourth-night-free feature.

Additionally, the no-annual-fee IHG One Rewards Traveler Credit Card offers a limited-time initial bonus of 100,000 points. This card also provides a Redeem 3 Nights, Get the 4th Night Free benefit for its holders.
