Korean Air’s new Prestige Suites 2.0 business class product will debut on July 25 aboard the airline’s new Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, operating between Seoul Incheon and Tokyo Narita.

The new product, whose name and maker remain unconfirmed, succeeds the Collins Apex forward-facing stagger that Korean Air refers to as Prestige Suites.

Details about the seat are currently limited to a single 787-10 product page on the Korean Air website and a press release. The seat is described as a forward-facing staggered doored mini-suite with high walls, appearing spacious even within the relatively narrow frame of the 787 aircraft.

The bed measures between 78.2 to 79.2 inches (approximately 200 cm) in length with a staggered seat pitch of 46 inches. The seat itself is 21 inches wide at its broadest point towards the front of the pan. The dividers stand at a height of 52 inches (1.32 meters), providing substantial privacy.

The seats are arranged in what is referred to as a “honeymoon/divorce” configuration in the center section, where two middle seats are adjacent with a retractable divider below sleeping position creating a double bed from about knee level upwards. This arrangement aims to appeal to premium leisure travelers.

A notable feature includes a 23.8-inch seatback screen installed at an optimal distance from passengers, along with an over-shoulder belt designed to prevent screen shatter during impact testing. Korean Air states that two USB-C sockets will provide up to 60W for devices, complemented by dual 220V/110V outlets.

Prestige class passengers will also have access to 24-inch (60 cm) 4K monitors with Bluetooth audio capabilities.

A small cabinet featuring an internally mirrored door next to each passenger's head offers storage space for headphones and personal items, along with a shelf for wireless charging functionality.

In terms of aesthetics, this product marks a departure from Korean Air’s traditional Morning Calm blue and white color scheme, opting instead for various shades of brown including chocolates, espressos, tans, taupes, and beiges.

The backrest cover features a new diagonally-slashed dark brown pattern distinct from previous brand elements while the headrest appears in leather or faux leather in similar tones. The side console combines semi-matte deep brown with metallic accents while other parts display brushed coppery-almond metallic effects and textured tan surfaces.

Speculation suggests that these suites may be Collins Aerospace Horizon suites based on design elements such as knee-level storage for water bottles—a signature feature of Horizon suites first introduced in early 2019 aboard Aeroflot’s Airbus A350s and later adopted by Turkish Airlines and Air India among others.

In economy class aboard the Korean Air 787-10, seats are configured in a standard three-by-three arrangement featuring "vibrant woven patterns of bold colors." These seats offer up to 120 degrees recline with adjustable headrests for enhanced comfort. Seat pitch is set at 32 inches (81 cm) while width measures at 17.2 inches (44 cm). Each economy seat includes a personal 13-inch (33 cm) 4K IFE monitor.
