A Delta Air Lines flight attendant is seeking advice as she contemplates starting an OnlyFans account, a subscription-based platform known for adult content. The flight attendant, who has been with the airline for three years, already boasts a social media following of over 100,000 and is considering this venture to supplement her income due to the low pay in her current role until gaining seniority.

"I get asked every single day, multiple times, when I am starting an OF," she stated. "I know that if I made one, I would definitely do well and make more and be able to help some of my family members who are financially struggling."

She expresses concern about potential repercussions from Delta Air Lines if they discover her involvement with OnlyFans, even if she avoids appearing in uniform or mentioning her employer. Previous incidents have shown that several Delta flight attendants have been terminated for their association with the platform.

Instances leading to termination include accidentally featuring a uniform in the background of videos or linking OnlyFans accounts to Instagram profiles that mention Delta. Another case involved a crewmember making videos in his layover hotel room, prompting an investigation by the airline.

Despite these risks, working as a flight attendant for Delta is considered better than other airlines. However, those on reserve or holding lines less than 80 hours per month often find themselves with ample free time. Many pilots engage in side businesses such as insurance sales; one United pilot reportedly ran brothels.

The issue recalls the early days of blogging and social media when Delta Air Lines flight attendant Ellen Simonetti faced suspension and eventual termination for her blog "Queen of Sky: Diary of a Dysfunctional Flight Attendant." Although Simonetti never explicitly named her employer, suggestive photos and online commentary led to disciplinary action.

OnlyFans' connection to the airline industry extends further as its co-founder is an investor and board member in Airbus A380 startup Global Airlines. This venture might be more lucrative and safer compared to alleged onboard prostitution activities at British Airways.

The popularity of niche markets on platforms like OnlyFans has seen creative endeavors from airline staff. During pandemic-era furloughs, an American Airlines flight attendant advised colleagues on selling feet photos online.

Airlines prioritize reputation management amid these developments. While some argue that public perception may not drastically change due to isolated incidents involving employees' personal ventures, companies like Delta remain vigilant about their image.
