The lawsuit against American Airlines concerning AAdvantage account shutdowns for using credit card signup offers intended for others has not been dismissed or moved to Texas as the airline requested. Instead, it has been moved to private dispute resolution.

A passenger questioned United Airlines on social media about being placed in a substandard hotel after their flight was delayed overnight due to controllable reasons. The passenger tweeted: "@united Why did you send us to a cockroach and bug infested hotel with a stained disgusting mattress (The Greentree Inn Houston IAH Airport) after a terrible, long day of delays and inconveniences?"

United Airlines has reportedly offered up to $2,500 in travel vouchers seeking volunteers to take a flight the next day. Charles V Payne tweeted: "Oh, snap. They just went to $2,500 said was equivalent to trip to Hawaii. 25 people got on line.. plane can't depart until issue is settled."
