On August 15, 2024, an increased initial bonus offer for the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card was announced. This offer allows cardholders to earn up to 75,000 bonus points and runs until September 26, 2024.

Cardholders can earn 60,000 bonus points after spending $5,000 on purchases within the first three months from account opening. An additional 15,000 bonus points can be earned after spending $12,000 in the first six months.

The card offers various benefits that make it appealing for new applicants. The initial bonus is particularly notable. One source noted, "I value Hyatt points at 1.4 cents apiece, making the initial bonus worth $1,050."

Another advantage is that it does not add to Chase's 5/24 rule. This means applicants who have had five or more new cards in the past 24 months may still be approved since it’s a business card and won’t count towards their total.

Spending on this card also provides an efficient way to achieve elite status with Hyatt. Unlike The World Of Hyatt Credit Card which earns two elite night credits for each $5,000 spent, the business version earns five elite qualifying nights for every $10,000 spent annually.

Additionally, cardmembers receive annual credits and rebates that justify its annual fee. Each anniversary year includes a $100 Hyatt credit and a potential rebate of up to 20,000 points if spending exceeds $50,000 in a calendar year.

The card also waives requirements for entry into the Hyatt Leverage program—a small business room discount program—which typically requires crediting 50 nights per year to remain active.

Overall satisfaction with the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card seems high among users seeking substantial upfront bonuses and effective ways to spend toward elite status tiers.
