Hilton Honors has announced a new promotion offering 2,500 bonus points per stay from September through December 31, 2024. Registration is required to participate in this promotion. Previously, Hilton ran a double points offer from May 2 to September 2, 2024. While the double points promotion generally provided better value for most customers, the current offer is capped at the first $250 spent.
The new offer does not limit the number of bonus points that can be earned and starts with the first stay. There is no minimum stay required for eligibility. Award stays also qualify for the bonus points, although they may take up to six to eight weeks to post to accounts; in practice, however, they typically post sooner.
Double points have been a common feature of Hilton’s promotions over recent years due to their lower base earn rates compared to competitors. These promotions are part of Hilton's strategy to remain competitive by enhancing their earn proposition for registered members.
