Chase has announced that its largest-ever offer for the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card will end on September 5, 2024, at 9 a.m. Eastern. The card now offers 120,000 bonus points after spending $8,000 on purchases within the first three months from account opening.

According to Chase, these points can be redeemed for $1,200 cash back or $1,500 toward travel when used through Chase TravelSM. Additionally, the points may hold even greater value when transferred to partners such as Hyatt and United Airlines.

"This is the biggest offer I’ve ever seen for a Chase Ultimate Rewards card," said an anonymous source familiar with the promotion. The spending requirement remains unchanged from previous offers; earlier versions required $15,000 in spending within three months.

The Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card has a $95 annual fee and does not include Priority Pass membership. However, it offers triple points on up to $150,000 spent annually on travel and specific business categories like shipping purchases and advertising on social media sites.

Many financial advisors recommend obtaining a business credit card to separate personal and business expenses while building business credit history. "It is one of the things you should do as you start your business," stated an expert in small business finance.

Key features of the new Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card include:

- A 120,000-point signup bonus after meeting initial spending requirements.

- Triple points per dollar spent on travel-related expenses.

- Triple points per dollar spent on shipping and advertising with social media platforms.

- A cap of $150,000 on bonus category spending.

- Protection against theft or damage for cell phones listed on the monthly bill paid with this card.

- The ability to obtain multiple cards if managing more than one business.

- Access to additional points through online shopping via Chase Ultimate Rewards mall.

Chase’s point transfer partners include major airline alliances such as Star Alliance (Air Canada Aeroplan, United Airlines MileagePlus), SkyTeam (Air France KLM Flying Blue), and non-alliance airlines like Emirates Skywards and JetBlue TrueBlue. Hotel partners include IHG One Rewards and World of Hyatt.

Despite historical “5/24 limits” applying to this card—whereby individuals who have opened five or more new credit cards in the past 24 months may face restrictions—obtaining this card reportedly does not add to one's 5/24 total.
