September 1 Rent Day marks a significant change for Bilt Mastercard users. It is the final occasion where cardholders can earn double points on up to 10,000 points, including tax payments. Starting October 1, the bonus will be capped at 1,000 additional points, and tax payments will no longer count.

One user noted the high value of Rent Day: "I’ve found Rent Day to be highly lucrative, and I’ve often maxed out this bonus." The Bilt Mastercard earns double points on travel and triple points on dining, translating to six points per dollar at restaurants on the first of each month. Many users purchase restaurant gift cards to maximize their rewards.

Another user shared their strategy: "Personally I’m happy earning 2 Bilt points per dollar because I value a single Bilt point more than one of any other currency." This individual saves large bills like homeowner’s insurance and car insurance for payment on the first of the month to benefit from double points.

Platinum status in the Bilt program offers additional perks such as Air France KLM Flying Blue Gold status and free Blade airport helicopter transfers. Platinum members also receive larger transfer bonuses. This month features two notable transfer bonus offers.

Transfers to Avianca LifeMiles on September 1 will earn a 50% bonus regardless of Bilt status with no limit on transferable points. A user mentioned, "I will likely make a small transfer to extend the expiration of my current points balance." LifeMiles is part of Star Alliance and does not add fuel surcharges to awards, offering unique value for frequent flyers.

Transfers to Virgin Atlantic on September 1 offer up to a 100% bonus depending on Bilt status:

- Platinum: 100%

- Gold: 60%

- Silver: 40%

- Base member: 20%

A user shared their experience with Virgin transfers: "I recently used 16,000 Bilt points per passenger that I’d transferred with a 150% bonus to book four first class awards on Hawaiian Airlines."

Additional promotions include:

- Buy one get one Virgin Voyages Limited Edition

- ResortPass buy-one-get-one-free offer

- Exclusive tickets and lounge access for Dave Portnoy’s One Bite Pizza Festival

- Fixed price tasting menus at top restaurants

- Complimentary SoulCycle rides with potential rent payment prizes

Rent Free game show participants have a chance to win free rent or additional Bilt points.

In summary, while some users may not fully utilize all redemption options this month, they appreciate the substantial transfer bonuses offered by the program.
