A recent incident at the Holiday Inn & Suites Durango Downtown has raised concerns about hotel security. At approximately 3:00 AM, a man allegedly broke into a guest's room and attempted to steal a purse. The guest reported the incident to management, who informed the police that similar incidents had occurred recently. A maintenance employee reassured the guests, stating, "This happens a lot and please don't be afraid it is safe here."

In another instance, British Airways faced criticism when a passenger complained about a flight attendant wearing "a badge featuring the Palestinian flag in the shape of a Black Power fist." The airline responded by stating that staff are permitted to wear "symbols of their religious faith."

Additionally, an LGBTQI+ influencer shared a TikTok video showing off newborn surrogate babies with his boyfriend on an airplane.
