A woman who was in a sexual relationship with an airplane for nine years has revealed that she has broken up with it, but they still remain friends.

Warehouse worker Michele Köbke, 36, first entered the relationship with the Boeing 737-800, which she affectionately called ‘Darling,’ in 2014. “The 737-800 is very attractive and sexy to me. He’s the most beautifully built, and he’s a very attractive and elegant aircraft,” Köbke stated.

Michele was diagnosed as an objectophile years ago. She described her relationship by saying, “It’s like a normal relationship; we have relaxing evenings together and when we go to bed, we cuddle and fall asleep together.”

In other news, Vasu Raja continues his rehabilitation tour with an interview on Airlines Confidential. While maintaining his usual demeanor, Raja appears to acknowledge the importance of customers: “Who are your customers? Who are your most profitable customers? How do you make the most profitable customers stay and how do you attract a new customer that will be profitable?” He emphasizes understanding individual customer wallet share but does not delve into product or travel experience details.

Additionally, I was featured on this week’s Airplane Geeks podcast and also appeared on the Travel Weekly podcast discussing Southwest Airlines' struggles and Elliott Management. This recording occurred before Gary Kelly agreed to step down as Chairman next year.

United Airlines is offering award flight discounts to Premier members and cardholders, including partner flights. This move may explain recent price increases as United adjusted redemption costs for everyone to provide preferred members with reduced rates without offering a genuine discount compared to previous prices.

United has also introduced signature regional entrees in first class on domestic flights departing from EWR, IAH, ORD, and SFO. The goal is to offer United First customers a taste of local cuisine from their hub cities. These dishes were developed considering trending and familiar local cuisines while adhering to United's culinary identity pillars of freshness, simplicity, and deliciousness. The airline plans to introduce these dishes across all seven hubs over the coming months and rotate offerings regularly.
