Aer Lingus has announced the introduction of a new route connecting Dublin Airport (DUB) to Nashville International Airport (BNA). This service is set to commence on April 12, 2025, offering four weekly flights in each direction.

The flight from Nashville, designated as EI76, will depart at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, arriving in Dublin the following morning at 8:50 a.m. The return flight from Dublin, EI77, will leave at 2:05 p.m., reaching Nashville by 5:10 p.m. local time.

Aer Lingus plans to operate this route using its latest aircraft model, the Airbus A321XLR. This aircraft is part of the A320neo family and recently received certification from European aviation regulators. Although Aer Lingus was initially slated to be the launch customer for this jet, the first deliveries were reassigned to Iberia by their parent company, International Airlines Group.

Iberia intends to introduce the A321XLR between Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) starting November 14. The delivery of these jets was delayed until mid- or late October.

While Aer Lingus has not yet released its seat map for the A321XLR model, it is expected to resemble that of the A321LR currently in use. This includes 16 lie-flat business-class seats arranged in a staggered configuration and 168 economy seats laid out in a standard arrangement.

Tickets for these new flights are available on Aer Lingus' website under an introductory fare offer starting at $499 round-trip for travel between April 12 and May 31, 2025. These promotional fares must be booked by October 31, 2024.

The flight distance is approximately 3,905 miles with an estimated duration of eight hours and ten minutes en route to Dublin and nine hours and five minutes returning to Nashville.
