Chase has announced a 40% transfer bonus to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, as reported by View from the Wing. This offer is available until November 30 and is described by Chase as its largest-ever offer to Virgin Atlantic. However, potential users should be aware that Virgin Atlantic will transition to a dynamic pricing model for points redemptions starting October 30.

Chase Ultimate Rewards points are highly regarded for their versatility in transferring to various airline and hotel loyalty programs. One can earn these points through cards like the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, which currently offers a bonus of 60,000 points after spending $4,000 within the first three months and provides a $300 statement credit on Chase Travel℠ purchases in the first year.

The transfer process to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club is straightforward. Users need to log into their Chase Ultimate Rewards account, select the transfer option, and enter their Virgin Atlantic Flying Club details.

Despite the upcoming shift to dynamic pricing at Virgin Atlantic, there are some positive changes. From October 30, every seat on a Virgin Atlantic-operated flight will be bookable using Virgin points. Additionally, there will be options for upgrades and a new saver reward seat product category.

Virgin claims that Flying Club members will benefit from some of the lowest-ever points prices. For example, flights from London to New York could cost as few as 6,000 points each way.

While this transfer bonus is generous compared to the usual 20% to 30% range, it may not be advisable to transfer points without a specific booking plan due to the impending changes in award charts.

Virgin Atlantic remains valuable for international travel bookings with airlines such as All Nippon Airways, Air France, and KLM. It is recommended not to transfer points without having a specific booking in mind until more information about the new award charts becomes available.
