The Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida, is undergoing a significant transformation. Currently part of Hilton's Curio Collection, the 36-story resort will become the Signia by Hilton Diplomat Beach Resort. This change marks it as only the fourth hotel under the Signia brand, which emphasizes major gateway cities and offers top-tier event and meeting spaces.

The transformation will bring notable changes to public spaces and communal areas across the hotel. The property features more than 200,000 square feet dedicated to events and meetings. Upgrades include a new oceanfront meeting terrace for year-round use, a VIP pool deck that doubles as an event space, a redesigned patio at Point Royal restaurant, and a new terrace linking the hotel with its convention center.

Design elements such as lush greenery and art are being integrated throughout the hotel. The main lobby will merge indoor and outdoor environments while featuring a central bar offering seasonal cocktails and Mediterranean-inspired small bites.

An infinity pool terrace will offer verdant landscaping along with adults-only cabana rentals, daybeds, lounge spaces with fire pits, and bar access. A new club lounge called Club Signia on the 33rd floor will provide 6,600 square feet of indoor and outdoor space with ocean views.

The resort's six restaurants and bars are also seeing changes in their menus. For instance, Playa will focus on Latin culture and cuisine from the area, while Diplomat Prime introduces a menu reflecting tropical vibes consistent with the Signia brand.

General manager Dean Lane expressed enthusiasm about these developments: "We can't wait to share our transformation with both new and longtime guests," he said in a statement shared with TPG. "It really is incredible how all the changes balance the history and beauty of this special place with all of these luxurious touches."

Despite ongoing renovations, the resort remains open to guests.
