HireLAX apprenticeship program celebrates milestone with 500 graduates

Los Angeles World Airports board members and executives gathered at Los Angeles Southwest College to celebrate the graduation of the 22nd cohort from the HireLAX Apprenticeship Readiness Program. This event marked a significant milestone as the program reached its 500th graduate.

The airport is in the midst of a multi-billion-dollar capital improvement initiative aimed at modernizing its facilities. The improvements are designed to enhance efficiency and reliability for both domestic and international travelers. Key projects include an Automated People Mover and a Consolidated Rental Car facility.
