Bank of America is bringing back its More Rewards Day for the third consecutive year. On November 7, cardholders will have the opportunity to earn additional rewards on their purchases. This offer applies to all Bank of America credit cards, including those that typically do not earn rewards.

The promotion allows cardholders to earn extra benefits from midnight until 11:59 p.m. EST on November 7. For cash-back credit cards, an additional 2% cash back can be earned on the first $2,500 in purchases. Rewards credit cards that accumulate points or miles will see an increase of 2 points or miles per dollar spent on the same amount. Nonrewards credit cards will also benefit with a 2% cash back as a statement credit.

Mary Hines Droesch, head of product for consumer, business, and wealth management banking and lending at Bank of America, stated: "As our clients prepare for the holidays, we celebrate them with More Rewards Day. Whether they are shopping for gifts, booking travel or purchasing everyday essentials, this promotion allows our cardholders to maximize their rewards and get more value on their spending to kick off the season."

Cardholders do not need to enroll in advance to participate in More Rewards Day; however, they must keep their accounts open and active through when the extra rewards are credited. The promotional earnings are limited to $2,500 per unique account or small business company.

Participants in the Bank of America Preferred Rewards program will continue earning their usual bonuses on purchase amounts but will not receive additional bonuses from this specific promotion.

It may take up to two billing cycles after November 7 for these extra rewards to appear in cardholder accounts. Purchases must post with a transaction date of November 7 to qualify.

This event provides an opportunity for cardholders considering significant purchases or holiday shopping plans. It encourages them to review their wallets and determine if using a Bank of America card could be advantageous during this period.
