Icelandair has entered into two codeshare agreements with Atlantic Airways and Air Greenland, announced during the Arctic Circle Assembly in Reykjavik. These partnerships aim to enhance connectivity between Greenland, the Faroe Islands, North America, and Europe through Icelandair's hub.

The collaboration with Atlantic Airways is expected to be fully operational by the first quarter of 2025, while the agreement with Air Greenland will be implemented by mid-next year.

Bogi Nils Bogason, CEO of Icelandair, emphasized the significance of these partnerships: "What we have in common is that we are all island nations that rely on efficient air transport to connect with the world and for the prosperity of our countries. By joining forces and formalizing our partnerships, we will further strengthen air connectivity in the West Nordic region and in the Arctic."

These agreements are part of Icelandair's strategy to expand its market reach and strengthen its route network through airline partnerships.
