JetBlue has expanded its status match program to include elite members from Frontier Miles, Southwest Rapid Rewards, and Spirit Airlines Free Spirit. This initiative allows elite members of major U.S. airline loyalty programs to experience the benefits of JetBlue's Mosaic status in its TrueBlue program for a limited time.

Initially launched in August, the status match was available to elite members of Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan, American Airlines AAdvantage, Delta Air Lines SkyMiles, and United Airlines MileagePlus. These participants could align their existing statuses with JetBlue's Mosaic 1 or 2 levels for three months and potentially extend this through the end of 2025 by earning "tiles."

The current offer provides matches to TrueBlue Mosaic 1 and Mosaic 2 for specific status levels across various airlines:

- Alaska Airlines: MVP, MVP Gold

- American Airlines: Gold, Platinum

- Delta Air Lines: Silver, Gold

- Frontier Airlines: Elite Gold

- Southwest Airlines: A-List

- Spirit Airlines: Gold

- United Airlines: Premier Silver

Mosaic 1 members enjoy benefits such as priority boarding and security (where available), dedicated check-in lines and phone support, free same-day switches starting 24 hours before departure without additional fees or fare differences, two free checked bags, complimentary Even More Space seats at check-in when available at no extra cost, up to three alcoholic beverages per flight per member, an Avis status match later in 2024, and a Perks You Pick benefit including Mint Suite seat selection on applicable aircraft.

Mosaic 2 offers all the perks of Mosaic 1 plus additional benefits like selecting Even More Space seats during booking at no extra cost and a pet fee waiver allowing travel with small pets without additional charges.

To apply for a JetBlue status match:

"First sign up for TrueBlue," advises Zach Griff from The Points Guy. Applicants must submit online screenshots of their frequent flyer profile showing full name and elite status level. For those matching to Mosaic 2, a recent boarding pass or flight confirmation email is also required. Matches may take up to four weeks to process.

Maintaining matched Mosaic status requires earning tiles—one tile per $100 spent on JetBlue flights or related purchases—or one tile per $1,000 spent on any JetBlue-branded credit card within three months post-match. Ten tiles are needed to retain Mosaic 1 through the end of 2025; twenty-five tiles are necessary for retaining Mosaic 2. Earning forty tiles upgrades members to Mosaic 3 through 2025 with four certificates allowing upgrades to Mint business class based on availability.

JetBlue’s expansion offers new opportunities for travelers holding elite statuses with other carriers who might be considering trying out different loyalty programs without losing their current benefits.
