Delta Air Lines and Junior Achievement (JA) Nigeria marked a significant milestone, celebrating 25 years of partnership with a focus on sustainable innovation. The collaboration supports young Nigerians through initiatives like the National Company of the Year (NCOY) competition.

Held in Lagos, the NCOY event featured 12 student companies presenting innovative solutions under the theme 'Greenovation.' Mary Gbobaniyi, Manager of Sales for West Africa at Delta Air Lines, emphasized the program's importance as a platform for secondary school students to address societal challenges. "Innovation is part of Delta’s DNA, and we understand the importance of sustainability in business practices," Gbobaniyi stated.

The competition included the Delta Girls Lead awards, recognizing 15 girls from 12 schools. These students were awarded a trip to the JA Girls Leadership Camp in Ghana scheduled for March 2025. This initiative aims to enhance female representation in business and leadership roles by providing exposure to new perspectives and experiences.
