フェデックスは、アジア太平洋地域のホリデーシーズンに関する調査結果を発表しました。この調査は2024年10月に行われ、12市場の中小企業200社と消費者300名を対象にしています。調査では、ホリデーシーズンへの期待や購入動機、懸念事項が明らかになりました。
調査によると、中小企業の70%が前年より売上増加を見込んでおり、80%近くが特に東南アジアでの売上増を予測しています。これはデジタル化の進展や海外需要の増加によるものです。また、域内取引は2030年までに13兆5,000億ドルを超えると予測されています。
「アジア太平洋地域では、クリスマスから旧正月にかけてギフトシーズンが続きます」とフェデックスのカワール・プリット氏は述べています。「越境ECによる取引が急増する中で、中小企業はこのホリデーシーズンでの売り上げを伸ばす準備を進めています。」
中小企業にとってECプラットフォーム活用は不可欠です。87%が外部事業者のECプラットフォームを利用して顧客へのリーチ拡大と販売機会増加を図っています。特に独身の日やブラックフライデーなどのイベントが重要な役割を果たしています。
配送も重要な要素です。無料配送が購入決定理由として挙げられた割合は65%でした。一方で54%が配送遅延を最大の問題として指摘しています。
持続可能性も重視されています。88%の消費者は持続可能な選択肢提供による差別化を求めており、77%が持続可能な包装に割増料金支払い意向があります。
