NATA, the National Air Transportation Association, has announced the continuation of its leadership and the election of three new board members. This decision followed the association's annual meeting during its Air Charter Summit.

Todd Anderson, Chief Operating Officer of Sheltair Aviation, was reelected for a one-year term as board chair and a two-year term as past chair. Clive Lowe, Executive Vice President at Atlantic Aviation, will continue his role as immediate past chair on NATA’s Executive Committee for another year. Anderson is based in Orlando, Florida, while Lowe operates from Arlington, Virginia.

NATA President and CEO Curt Castagna commented on their contributions: “I would like to recognize Todd Anderson and Clive Lowe for their ongoing devotion to furthering NATA’s mission. Over the past few years, Todd and Clive have been instrumental in supporting NATA’s efforts to shape and influence industry standards and policy decisions, as well as pursue solutions to prioritize the safety and economic viability of our industry. We look forward to seeing these initiatives and the Board continue to flourish under their leadership.”

C.R. Sincock of Avflight in Ann Arbor, Michigan renewed his position for an additional three-year term.

The newly elected at-large members are Geoff Heck from Aero Centers in Orlando, Florida; Donald Howell from Southern Sky in Birmingham, Alabama; and Eric Legvold from Davinci Jets in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Curt Castagna also noted: “As NATA’s scope, influence, and reach grow, Geoff, Donald, and Eric will contribute significant experience, perspective, and depth to the Association’s governance. We look forward to continuing to elevate NATA’s profile and programs with executive leaders who are dedicated to placing the health and welfare of the overall membership first by fostering open communication and exploring opportunities that benefit all general aviation industry stakeholders.”

Donald A. Howell joined Southern Sky Aviation in February 2018 as CFO before taking on dual roles later that year. He manages daily operations across service segments while also overseeing financial responsibilities. Howell graduated from Auburn University with an accounting degree in 1990.

Geoff Heck became President/COO of Aero Centers in 2023 after progressing through various management positions within Signature Flight Support since 1985. He oversees seven fixed-base operations across the US.

Eric Legvold co-founded Davinci Jets in 2004 after starting his aviation career as a co-pilot in Charlotte back in 1999. With over two decades of experience flying corporate business jets alongside operational expertise—Legvold holds multiple jet aircraft type-ratings—he became CEO of Davinci Jets in 2015.
