Textron Aviation is preparing to showcase seven aircraft at the upcoming EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, an annual event that attracts aviation enthusiasts from around the world. This year's exhibition will be held from July 22 through July 28 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. During this period, the airport becomes the busiest in the world due to the influx of attendees.

Among the aircraft Textron Aviation plans to present are models from both Cessna and Beechcraft, including notable entries such as the Cessna Citation M2 and Beechcraft King Air 360. The event is known for its diverse range of airshows and flying displays, with performances by groups like the Snowbirds and Red Bull Airforce scheduled for this year.

The Cessna Citation M2, introduced in 2011, is part of a series developed in the late 1980s. It features two Williams FJ44 turbofan engines and includes enhancements like winglets for improved efficiency. Meanwhile, Beechcraft's King Air 360 represents an upgrade to a longstanding series first developed in the late 1960s. This model boasts Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-60A turboprop engines and modern avionics.

Another anticipated aircraft is Beechcraft's Denali, which remains under certification but marks a significant milestone in its development process. The single-engine turboprop was first announced at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in 2015.

Cessna will also display several single-engine models: the Caravan, Turbo Stationair HD, Skylane, and Skyhawk. Each offers unique features catering to different aviation needs—from utility functions to personal travel.

The EAA AirVenture Oshkosh not only highlights current aircraft but also showcases classic warbirds and modern Boeing planes at Boeing Plaza. Attendees can explore various exhibits across expansive convention grounds or take flights on historic aircraft like a Ford Tri-Motor or B-25 Berlin Express.

Textron Aviation's participation underscores its commitment to showcasing innovation within general aviation manufacturing alongside other major players like Cirrus and Piper.
