Emirates has entered into a significant partnership with SailGP, committing to serve as the Global Partner and Exclusive Airline Partner for the next five seasons. This collaboration will see Emirates continue its role as Title Partner of the Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix, which is scheduled for November 23-24 in Mina Rashid. The airline will also become the Title Partner for the new home event of the Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team in Portsmouth, marking SailGP's return to the UK from July 19-20, 2025.

SailGP is experiencing rapid growth as a sports and entertainment entity, with twelve national teams confirmed for its 2025 season. The league's calendar spans multiple continents, featuring at least thirteen events next season.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group, commented on the partnership: “Our expanded relationship with SailGP is based on a shared commitment to bring the growing sport of sailing to a broader global audience on and off the waters." He added that both organizations share a vision to ‘sport better’ and ‘fly better,’ driven by excellence and innovation.

The agreement will see Emirates' branding featured prominently across various platforms including SailGP’s LiveLine broadcast production. Additionally, Emirates will become SailGP’s official Umpire partner and provide opportunities for fans to watch races via its inflight entertainment system.

The partnership also includes marketing rights and hospitality offerings at SailGP events. Further details about community programs under this partnership are expected soon.

Emirates has been involved in sailing sponsorship since 2004 and continues to support teams like the Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team. The upcoming 2025 season kicks off with an event in Dubai on November 23-24. Tickets are available at SailGP.com/Dubai, while tickets for Portsmouth go on sale next month.
