Travelers will soon have more cruise options from Philadelphia. Norwegian Cruise Line, shortly after announcing plans to home port its first ship in the city in nearly 15 years, has revealed it will add a second vessel to its schedule.

Norwegian Pearl is the latest ship set to depart from the Port of Philadelphia, heading to Bermuda, the Bahamas, and other Caribbean destinations. It will join Norwegian Jewel, which will sail from Philadelphia to Canada and New England.

Sailings for both ships are scheduled to begin in 2026. Norwegian Jewel, accommodating 2,376 passengers, will start on April 16, 2026. The 2,344-passenger Norwegian Pearl's season from Philadelphia will commence on November 14, 2026.

Philadelphia has not been a hub for larger cruise vessels since 2011. Currently, major East Coast ports include New York City; Baltimore; Boston; Norfolk, Virginia; and several Florida locations such as Port Canaveral and Port Everglades.

The new sailings of Norwegian Pearl include five- and seven-night cruises to Bermuda from November 14 to December 18, 2026. There are also ten- and eleven-night Caribbean sailings with stops in the Dominican Republic and St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Fares for Bermuda voyages start at $759 per person based on double occupancy (including taxes and fees). Ten-night Caribbean cruises begin at $1,100 per person under similar terms.

Norwegian Jewel's offerings include eleven-night Canada and New England trips departing September 5 and September 26, 2026. These trips make stops in Boston; Bar Harbor, Maine; Halifax, Nova Scotia; and Quebec City. Additionally available are seven- and nine-night cruises to Bermuda with a stop in Charleston, South Carolina between April 16 through September of that year.

Canada and New England itineraries start at $1,507 per person based on double occupancy (including taxes and fees). Seven-night Bermuda sailings begin at $1,187 per person under similar conditions.
