Earlier this year, during Donald Trump's presidential campaign, the team unveiled the private jet used by JD Vance, Trump's running mate. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-800 with a converted interior and new paint job, was dubbed Trump Force Two. This name draws from President-elect Donald Trump's own private jet known as Trump Force One.

The aircraft flown by JD Vance is a Boeing Business Jet (BBJ), registered as N917XA. It has a serial number of 32917 and is owned by Eastern 737 Asset Holdings LLC, an aircraft holding company based in Kansas City, Missouri. Eastern Air Express is considered the main operator of the plane.

JetSpy reports that the aircraft remained active throughout the year, especially during the campaign period leading up to November 5th. In 2024 alone, it completed 225 flights totaling 310 flight hours. The airports visited most frequently include Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington D.C., Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport in Ohio, and Chicago O'Hare International Airport in Illinois.

Originally ordered by Air Berlin in February 2001 and delivered in September 2002, the aircraft changed hands multiple times over the years. Orenair operated it until March 2015 before XTRA Airways took control from May 2015 to March 2018. iAero Airways then operated it until April 2024 when Eastern Air Express began its current operations.

The Boeing 737 series is widely recognized as one of the most popular narrowbody aircraft families globally. Introduced in the late '60s, its next generation—the Boeing 737-600/700/800/900—debuted in 1997 and continued production into the early '10s before being succeeded by the MAX series. Despite this transition, models like JD Vance's Boeing 737-800 remain favored among airlines and charter companies worldwide.

Specifications for the Boeing 737-800 include a length of 129 feet six inches, height of 41 feet two inches, wingspan of 112 feet seven inches, maximum takeoff weight of approximately 174,200 pounds, typical cruise speed of around 455 knots (523 mph), range of about 2,935 nautical miles (3,378 miles), and service ceiling reaching up to approximately 41,000 feet.
