TAP Air Portugal's frequent flyer program, TAP Miles&Go, offers a variety of ways for travelers to earn and redeem miles. As a member of the Star Alliance, TAP Miles&Go allows members to earn and use miles across numerous airlines including United Airlines, Lufthansa, and Singapore Airlines. Additionally, it partners with non-alliance airlines such as Emirates and Gol Airlines.

The program has three elite status levels: Silver, Gold, and Navigator. Each tier provides different benefits such as bonus miles on flights with TAP Air Portugal, priority boarding, and lounge access. For instance, Silver status requires 30,000 status miles or 25 flights annually with TAP Air Portugal.

Members can earn redeemable miles by flying with TAP or its partner airlines. The amount of miles earned varies depending on the ticket type purchased. Credit card partnerships also allow for earning bonus miles through spending.

Redeeming these miles is possible for flights within the Star Alliance network or directly with TAP Air Portugal. However, redemption rates for partner airlines are less competitive compared to other programs like Air Canada's Aeroplan.

Overall, while the TAP Miles&Go program offers various options for earning and using miles, potential members should compare it against other frequent flyer programs to ensure they receive optimal value from their loyalty points.
